Sigh....I've been struggling with a decision and/or more accurately, life as it is. I don't have a 4 year degree and at this point of my life, I do not honestly have the desire to pursue one. However - I have years invested in the field of federal contracting and with preliminary discussions of relocating ourselves to Texas within a few years, I need to be sure that I am marketable and can compete with the younger workforce with degrees.
So I'm looking into professional certifications and/or a possible 2 year degree. I don't relish the idea of going to class or doing homework, but I relish the idea of having a job in Texas or even the need to find a job here in Virginia - WHICH I'm NOT thinking of doing at this time - so anyone at work who reads my blog....don't be starting any rumors. I'm perfectly happy where I am right now.

I returned to school in my 30's to get my Bachelors Degree and I still wish I would have went back to complete the last 2 years!!! Best of Luck with your decision!!! :-)
You can do the two year degree and it would really help. It took me ten years and five schools before I got my degree. It is more a matter of determination that intelligence.
I didn't know you wanted to be a Texan one day! How fun is that! Good luck in deciding what do do...deciding to go back is a big decision...one that I don't envy, but one that I know you can do. I totally agree with Lynette...it is definitely a matter of determination!
