Today as I was driving to work - there was traffic everywhere! For anyone who lives near a major metropolitan area - you know that work commutes can be somewhat frustrating and challenging.
Today I was hitting every alternate route I could think of and every route I tried I hit more traffic - and I stopped and thought - if I had not detoured from the original route, I probably would have already arrived at my destination.
And then I had one of those Gibb's Head Smack moments from God - If you don't try and detour from the original path you will get to the destination sooner and with less frustration. Sometimes a detour is not a shortcut at all - just saying.

Lately...all I have been doing is looking for detours and short cuts!!
