A small vent

My son called at 11 am to say they would be delayed coming to have lunch...which was already scheduled for 1 pm. He is about 50 miles away helping his girlfriends parents move. Her parents hadn't even arrived yet to begin unloading. So we discussed having him call when he was on his way. Then I called back and canceled...I decided I was not spending my birthday waiting on him to show up "sometime". He has really become an arrogant, self absorbed person. He told me to email him tomorrow with a time to get together. I hope he isn't holding his breath waiting for that email. He wasn't raised this way - at least I don't remember raising him this way. I'm very disappointed and sad by his behavior.
