The Journey to Achievement

One of the things I want to Achieve this year is incorporating a healthy fitness regiment BACK into my life, without becoming obsessive and obnoxious about it. I stopped by Olympus gym on my way home from work, took a tour, got a free weeks workout pass. It is the most conveniently located to my office - but World Gym is also close by to work AND home. So I contacted them and got a free weeks work out pass. I'm going to try both facilities before I make a decision. Working out at a gym, believe it or not, is easier for me. I am too easily distracted by the internet and the demands of my online store to be disciplined enough to work out at home. So I'm looking at my gym options. My initial goal is 3 days per week. I don't feel that is an overwhelming goal for me. One step at a time.

Oh...and I've been sleeping with my jammies inside out trying to lure snow to Washington DC - so far, no luck. I'm not giving up on my longing for a big snow storm!

Yeah for you!!!!!

(Not the snow thing, that's just werid, lol)

I joined a gym for the same reason. We have stuff here at home. I have a videos and weights and a treadmill. Everytime I think, "Oh, I have 30 mins." I come up with something I should be doing instead.

Now I go on my lunch break, which I never did anything on anyway!

That is why I started going to Curves two years ago. It is really close to home, only takes a half an hour and works for me. I have NEVER had the discipline to exercise at home.
