I've been reorganizing and purging in my scrap room...it needed it. I'm about 3/4 of the way done. Lots of stuff is going and lots of stuff being reorganized.
I went to Ross's today and found some great journals for only $5.99 each. Picked up three of them. Then I found a great book on altered books - only $2.99...the two sweaters that I some how ended up with, while a bargain, they weren't $2.99 bargains.
While shopping for Pat's birthday present I some how ended up with two pair of Brighton earrings for myself. Oops...funny how that happens sometimes.
I fixed a yummy dinner tonight - you can find the recipe on Food Netwook - it's Ina Garten's Perfect Roast Chicken and it IS perfect and yummy. I leave out the fennel and add potato's. Oh talk about delish! Then I made Giada's Espresso Brownies which are always a hit.
Tomorrow I am driving to Rocky Mount, NC to visit my dear friend Pat for her birthday. I'll be spending the night and heading back home Wednesday morning.
Thursday is the day I've set aside to finish painting the dining room.
So for a Monday....I'd say it was a pretty good day.
