First....summer - I'm done with you. My grass is dead. You make my hair ugly - come on Fall.

"3 miles of vision for a 5,000 mile journey." My pastor Joel, said this morning in church and it sure does hit home on so many levels. I think that is truly what God does, He gives just what we need for the next step. To a person who likes everything planned in advance, FAR in advance, this is a challenging concept for me and one I struggle with often and probably always will. Thankfully, God has an abundance of patience, but I can truly envision Him sitting there, shaking his head at me - regularly. I'm going to incorporate that into the canvas I am working on right now.

I got a good sunset picture from our front porch. You can't even tell we live in a big subdivision.

Some pics of the barn swallows on our side porch. There are 6 of them and they barely fit in the nest anymore.

And today after church I took some pics of the Lugo Family. I've had the honor of taking their engagement, wedding, and maternity photos. Today, I got to take some pics of all three of them - Little Isabella Grace is precious!
