It's been a good weekend - maybe even great.
Saturday, Mike, Phil and I went to Harper's Ferry, WV. It had been so long since I had been there and it's so close. I found some adorable coffee earrings and a charm for my Pandora Bracelet. We took lots of photos - here are a few.....
I've been playing around with creating stuff on canvas. I'm no Picasso, but I really enjoyed doing this canvas. It's hanging in my scrappy place, right above my computer monitor. It was such a relaxing work for me - and it makes me smile when I look at it. Maybe I should take it to work. I see me buying lots more paint soon.
I've also decided it's time to brush up on my photography skills. I miss my creative outlet and I love taking pictures. I'm going to start renting some different lenses from Borrowlenses.com so that I can decide on a new lens to purchase.
Sunday was church, a visit to the scrappy store to buy the last 3 Smash Journal's they had (two are for a friend!). But I love to journal and combining both journaling and scrappy goodness is such a wonderful treat for me!!!!!
Anyway....the weekend was great - A new work week looms on the horizon.
