March Madness

It's been a crazy month....I'll call it my own version of March Madness.

Work has been crazy. Anyone who has worked on preparing responses to Federal RFQ's can sympathize and understand the craziness that goes along with proposal preparation. Lots of data compiled, lots of writing, lots of pricing and LOTS AND LOTS of paper. Seeing the thousands and thousands of pieces of paper that go into submitting the response makes me wonder - WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOVT GOING PAPERLESS? Ha I say! How totally hypocritical of them to ask what how we address going green as a company when we are required to respond with multiple copies of proposal responses in binders!

We also had a friend and his dog Yukon, stay with us while he recuperated from prostrate surgery. Good news, all the cancer was removed.

And while tomorrow is Monday and I worked all weekend, lots was accomplished. Thankfully, we only have to go through exercises like this every 2 or 3 years.

Let's see...some random observations:

This season of 24 is ludicrous. Totally unbelievable. Not even close to the edginess of the previous seasons. Last year was ok...not great but ok.

Criminal Minds, CSI (all three) and NCIS are my favorites. Just started watching NCIS - not totally into it yet, but it's pretty good.

I hate the Brawny paper towel commercials. I'll stay a Bounty user for sure!

I like the commercial with the big sock monkey. It makes me laugh.

Having a lot of back pain the past few weeks. I'm going to call the chiropractor tomorrow - haven't been in years, but I can't seem to stretch the muscles or keep them from going into spasms or knots. It's time to get some adjusting done.

I'll be off to Orlando in a few weeks. The NASA SEWP conference will be held there this year. It's a lot of work for all, but it's always productive and informative and then we manage to find time for fun at the end of the day. I'm going to see my friend Candice while I'm there too.

Isn't the saying that March comes in like a Lion and goes out like a lamb? Well, lets just say....I would be happy to see a lot of lamb this week!

Happy end of March all!

I like the sock monkey too. I knew you had been busy. After the Chirpractor, if you have time, look at Pilates. I have been doing that and the stretching has worked wonders for the ache I always have in my lower back.
The word verification for this is madisc. How approrpriate.
